About this blog

The seed for this blog was sown during my time as a journo with Hyderabad Times, Times Of India. A senior visiting editor who knew about my spiritual streak , happened to read an article printed in the Mind and Matter section. She suggested I start a column called Inner Space, in which I made spirituality practical, relevant to everyday living, and accessible for people from all walks for life. I can’t thank her enough, for these went on to become my most satisfying pieces of work.

People who never bothered to mention my breaking stories, or interviews with the country’s top personalities, now started telling me they never missed the column. That’s when it hit me that all else is transient, but matters of the soul are.. well, eternal.

We all need food for thought (and no, dal chawal and pasta don’t count), to go within ourselves from time to time; to see the glass as half full, not half empty, to realize that there’s much more to life, than slogging on weekdays and partying on weekends, or paying our credit card bills on time.

And that MORE only comes from within us. We all have a well-spring of spirituality buried inside, we just need to tap into it and replenish it from time to time. Not for a moment do I fancy myself to be a guru of any sort (unless I’m talking about all the mistakes of my life, on which I can give you lots of gyaan). In my own small way, by sharing my life experiences with you all, I’m hoping that the lessons I’m learning will be sweeter in the sharing.
